Overview
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and test scripts based on system requirements and performance goals.
- Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter to simulate user load and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Configure and utilize monitoring tools to gather performance metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, CPU utilization, memory usage).
- Analyze performance test results, identify root causes of performance issues, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations for performance tuning.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to understand system architecture and performance requirements.
- Participate in performance tuning efforts by providing insights and recommendations based on test results.
- Automate performance testing processes where applicable.
- Document performance test plans, test scripts, and test results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing and Skills :
- Proven experience in performance testing of web applications, APIs, and other software systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation and scripting.
- Proficiency in using various Monitoring Tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic) to gather and analyze performance data.
- Solid understanding of Performance Tuning principles and methodologies.
- Extensive hands-on experience with LoadRunner for load and stress testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load :
- 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in Performance Testing
