We’re currently inviting applications for the role of Performance Test Lead for an exciting Infosys project based in Trivandrum/Bangalore/Chennai with hybrid work options.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment and conduct analysis of results.
• Define, develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
• Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.
• Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
• Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.

Requirements

• 5-10 years in the QA domain out of which at least 3+ years' work experience on Perf testing projects for reputed clients.
• Strong Work Experience with at least 2 performance testing tools preferably LoadRunner and/or JMeter.
• Experience in designing automated Performance test scripts with best industry practices.
• Extensive experience using various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Solid understanding of web services, including both SOAP and REST, along with a strong foundation in core Java.
• Proficiency in Unix, databases, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization, end-to-end performance and root cause analysis.
• Experience in performance testing of SAP application and Cloud-based platforms like AWS and GCP will be an added advantage.
• Expertise in performance assessment and optimization of complex applications built on SAP BTP platform.
• Understanding of relational database systems as well as in-memory databases and scripting knowledge – Perl, Python etc will be a plus.
• Reasonable knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries, JVM tuning techniques is essential.
