Performance Tester

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester with around 3 years of hands-on experience in performance and load testing of web, API, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of performance testing tools, scripting, result analysis, and tuning recommendations to ensure high-performing systems in production-like environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Create, maintain, and debug performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar.
• Set up and configure test environments to simulate real-world usage and traffic.
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks across application layers (server, database, network).
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Generate comprehensive performance test reports with clear insights and recommendations.
• Assist in capacity planning and tuning of applications and servers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance testing strategies and practices.
• Support automation and integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
• Strong expertise in tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or NeoLoad.
• Experience with HTTP, REST APIs, WebSockets, and browser-based application testing.
• Good understanding of performance metrics (response time, throughput, CPU/memory utilization).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript, Python, Shell).
• Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
