PHP Developer

Overview

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, be comfortable working with front-end technologies, and be capable of handling both back-end and front-end development. You’ll work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to build and maintain robust, scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-designed, and scalable PHP code.
• Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases.
• Follow industry best practices and participate in the full software development lifecycle.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Collaborate with the design and development team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in PHP, with a good knowledge of at least one PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and writing complex queries.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of test-driven development.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Fixed shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vadakode-vazhakulam, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• PHP: 1 year (Required)
