About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled PHP Backend Developer to join our development team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and ensuring seamless integration with front-end components. You will play a key role in building robust applications and may also be involved in leading and mentoring a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and efficient backend applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented PHP code using frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Build and maintain optimized databases (MySQL) and handle data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Conduct analysis of application requirements and system architecture.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Handle API development and third-party integrations, including payment gateways.
• Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Graduation-B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
• Proficient in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, RESTful APIs, and data security practices.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) environments.
• Familiarity with product development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with payment gateway and API integrations is a plus.
• Ability to manage and mentor junior developers (if applicable).
