PHP Developer Trainee

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PHP Developer Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on experience in PHP development, allowing candidates to enhance their skills and grow in a collaborative environment. As a trainee, you will work closely with senior developers and contribute to real-world projects while learning the fundamentals of web development and software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide effective solutions.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure optimal performance of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in PHP development and web technologies.
• Learn and apply MVC frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) to design and optimize queries.
• Understand and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration between systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of PHP and web development concepts.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL queries.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Passion for learning new technologies and solving technical problems.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (students in their final year may also apply).
