PHP Web Developer

Overview

We seek a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP programming, a deep understanding of web development, and the ability to build robust, high-performing applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and ensuring seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-designed, and efficient code using PHP and related frameworks.
• Develop, test, and deploy web applications and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize and troubleshoot application performance and ensure scalability.
• Maintain and update existing applications to meet modern development standards.
• Work with MySQL or other databases to design and manage database schemas.
• Ensure applications are secure, responsive, and user-friendly.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in PHP development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer of minimum 1 year
• Strong proficiency in PHP programming and understanding of PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of web security practices and principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
