PL/SQL Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining PL/SQL code for database applications. You will work closely with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to implement efficient database solutions and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Analyze and tune SQL queries to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate back-end database logic with front-end modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PL/SQL code based on business requirements.
• Perform data analysis and support data migration, transformation, and validation tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries and flow diagrams.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with database standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to database design discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming language.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
• Familiarity with database tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, or similar.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
