We are seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to join our dynamic team with 6+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Teamcenter Administration and various DevOps & DevSecOps Tools. We are seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to join our dynamic team with 6+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Teamcenter Administration and various DevOps & DevSecOps Tools. You will be responsible for modernizing applications with cutting-edge technologies . Your role will involve upgrading existing projects and ensuring high-quality, secure software development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and product managers, adopting new technologies to solve current needs and anticipate future challenges.
Responsibilities
- Have an API first mind-set with cloud agnostic architecture and identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally and cross-product areas to improve processes and tools.
- Drive cloud enablement of Vehicle Software and Electrical portfolio deployed on Teamcenter with active integration across cloud deployed Over-The-Air (OTA) product portfolio.
- Deep experience in Software Engineering, Agile practices and DevSecOps.
- Strong experience with Site Reliability Engineering principles
- Develop and maintain the business requirement documents, including analysis, detailed business requirements, design, signoffs.
- Engage appropriate technical experts within IT.
- Support discussion with business, IT management, and siemens teams.
- Leverage communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills through all phases of the project.
- Work with production support and Business IT organizations to ensure services provided to business.
- Partner with the customer to drive business process reengineering efforts, including documenting and performing investigation, feasibility, benchmarking and analytical studies on the engineering processes.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Architecting, Installing, Configuring, Upgrading, and administering Siemens PLM environments.
- Experience with BMIDE, TEM, Deployment Center, Active Workspace, and Web Servers like JBoss and Tomcat and Oracle Databases
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter products, including latest Unified Architecture, Organization, Multisite, T4EA Integration, Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Project, Query Builder, Dispatcher etc.
- Working experience in Windows and Linux Operating systems.
- Knowledge of ITKs, Custom Services and other areas of PLM domain.
- Proficiency in supporting multiple environments like Development, Testing etc.
- Knowledge and experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and JIRA.
- Creating and maintaining build and release scripts and processes to ensure smooth and efficient release.
- Managing version control systems (Git)and ensuring that code is properly managed.
- Should have Knowledge about office integration with Teamcenter.
- Preferably, familiarity with project methodologies such as SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile.
- Hands on experience with ITK, AWC and SOA would be a added advantage
- Manages and expands relationships with development teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
