Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mendix and PowerApps Application Development: Create applications for enterprises or businesses using the Mendix and Microsoft Power Platform. Integrate the platform with any existing solutions within the company's framework.
- Other Digital Solution Creation: Support the design, development, and deployment of other business services, applications, systems, and processes through analysis and implementation of business strategy and objectives of the assigned organization and external influences. Position requires a thorough understanding of the business processes being supported by a cross-functional business organization.
- Roadmap & Backlog Management for Assigned Applications and/or software: Manage and deliver digital solutions aligned with business needs, translate requirements into customer quality and regulatory solutions, refine backlogs, and facilitate release planning.
- OKR Ownership & Reporting: Own product-specific OKRs, track and report them to the Digital QRA management, and ensure business value is reflected in new developments.
- IT Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between QRA Operations and Information Technology (IT) in matters pertaining to QRA applications, such as regular system updates, initiating enhancement requests (and change management), and summarizing activities for reporting to management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Global and Regional Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, Global Supply Chain, Data Science, and other business functions to collect and integrate customer feedback and market research into digital solutions to enhance customer experience with technological advancements.
- Feature Prioritization & Optimization: Prioritize features, optimize costs, improve delivery efficiency, and balance business value with technical feasibility.
- Product Launch & Adoption: Lead product launches, drive adoption, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage cross-team dependencies and communication.
- Business User Requirement Identification, Validation and Implementation Activities: Collaborate with cross-functional business team members to identify and document business user requirements and analyse business processes/capabilities to identify, influence, and act upon improvement opportunities. Participate in validation and implementation activities (writing of test scripts, formal and informal testing) for system implementation and upgrades.
- Data Connection Understanding: Understand how data flows through the technology platform to support the outcomes of the business processes including analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) interfaces. Maintain a broad understanding of the assigned business processes and how the respective technology platforms and configurations support the business processes and the business rules embedded in the processes.
- Training Creation and Implementation: Prepare training materials and deliver user training for digital products to QRA colleagues, as required.
- Data Management and Migration Responsibilities: Create, revise, and implement efficient and secure procedures for data management including preparation and validation of data via mass load tool(s), where appropriate. Collaborate with data migration teams, as required.
- GXP Adherence and Enforcement: This role requires adherence to specific GXP requirements and execution according to the valid Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Work with assigned project teams to provide compliant implementation of computerized systems to meet Current Good x Practices (cGXP) requirements. Provide guidance in the development and delivery of compliant IT systems.
- Project and Organizational Change Management: Drive QRA projects from initiation to completion, while incorporating organizational change management principles to encourage positive change and adoption of new technology or processes.
- Additional Developmental Opportunities: Participate in other department activities / initiatives, as required.
- Demonstrate team leadership and have responsibility for coaching, mentoring, and directly supervising junior associates
Skills Required:
- Proven experience developing low-code applications using the Mendix platform, including expertise in Domain Modeling, Microflows, Page Building, and Security.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Mendix security concepts, including XPath constraints and access rules.
- Proficient in relevant web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experienced with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate Mendix applications with diverse enterprise systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL, SAP), utilizing REST and SOAP APIs, and managing data in JSON and XML formats.
- Experience with cloud deployment of Mendix applications (e.g., Mendix Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and performance optimization techniques in Mendix.
- Experience developing applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven Apps).
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and hands-on experience using Jira for task management and collaboration.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
