Job Description
In this role, you will own the technical solution throughout the lifecycle of high-complexity projects, managing the end-to-end scope from presales to operations and CARE. This includes overseeing the bill of materials and components required for both hardware and software, third-party solutions, and ensuring sizing and expansions are addressed as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
During the presales phase, you will collaborate with the Customer Chief Architects team to define customer objectives, gather requirements, and ensure Nokia’s solution aligns with their needs. You will also be responsible for composing the Market Services elements of Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring completeness and defining scope for the project.
As the technical authority during project delivery, you will lead a large team to develop and oversee technical deliverables such as solution requirements, architecture, and high-level design. You will also manage risk mitigation strategies and ensure that technical decisions align with business goals.
Throughout the project, you will act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide leadership for troubleshooting, debugging, and ensuring the successful resolution of any challenges. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the technical handover to operations and CARE teams, ensuring smooth transitions and obtaining necessary sign-offs for final project acceptance.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Technical Leadership: You will lead a team of engineers and technical experts to ensure successful project delivery and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Customer Relationship: Develop a strong, trust-based relationship with the customer’s CTO and Chief Architects team, acting as a "trusted advisor" and ensuring alignment between technical decisions and customer goals.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Gain extensive experience in managing high-complexity projects across all phases, including presales, delivery, and handover to operations and CARE.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with domain owners, project managers, and cross-functional teams to define project plans, scope, and timelines.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, ensuring technical decisions are financially effective and simplified.
- Expertise in Technical Delivery: Develop expertise in solution architecture, integration planning, and validation strategies, as well as troubleshooting highly complex interoperability issues.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical project management or solutions architecture, with a proven track record of managing complex solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software components involved in complex projects.
- Strong background in solution architecture, high-level design, and technical integration.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing technical leadership.
- Ability to work with various technical teams, including engineering, project management, and operations.
- Project Management:
- Ability to manage project phases, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Experience in risk management and change request management.
- Communication:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to present complex technical solutions in a simplified manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership:
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide technical teams and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Tools and Methodologies:
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, as well as technical documentation standards.
