Python Backend Developer

We are looking for a Python Developer who is passionate about building high-performance backend systems and has hands-on experience in deploying language model applications in production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and deploy LLM-based systems in production using frameworks like Langchain, LlamaIndex, Agno and optimize for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, product teams, and frontend engineers to integrate AI agents across multiple platforms (voice, WhatsApp, email).
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability across microservices and APIs.
• Contribute to infrastructure decisions, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python and modern backend frameworks (preferably FastAPI).
• Proven experience in deploying and maintaining LLM-powered applications in production environments.
• Familiarity with vector databases, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, async programming, and cloud-based deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience scaling applications to support high-concurrency, real-time user interaction.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments and owning end-to-end features.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience building or integrating omnichannel communication tools.
• Knowledge of voice tech (e.g., Webrtc, Twilio, Plivo), WhatsApp Business API, or email automation.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or dev communities.
