Python Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs, and backend systems. The ideal candidate is a passionate developer who writes clean, maintainable code and has a strong understanding of server-side logic and modern Python frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write efficient, reusable, and testable Python code.
• Develop back-end components, APIs, and services using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL), ORM libraries, and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Ensure security and data protection in web applications.
• Document technical specifications and system designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Python and its ecosystem.
• Experience with at least one Python web framework (preferably Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with ORMs like SQLAlchemy, Django ORM.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Understanding of containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Experience with task queues and background jobs (e.g., Celery, RQ).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
