Job Summary:

We are looking for a Chemical Testing Engineer to join our QA/QC team. The ideal candidate will perform routine and advanced chemical tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products, ensuring conformance to specifications and contributing to continuous product quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wet chemical analysis and instrumental testing of resins, hardeners, and additives as per internal SOPs and relevant standards.
• Perform routine QC tests such as:
• Viscosity
• Gel time
• Epoxy equivalent weight (EEW)
• Acid value
• Solid content
• Specific gravity
• Color (Gardner)
• Moisture content
• Analyze and record test data accurately, identify deviations, and communicate findings to the QA/QC head.
• Assist in trouble-shooting quality issues in coordination with production and R&D.
• Ensure proper sample labeling, documentation, and filing of batch-wise test reports and COAs.
• Participate in calibration and maintenance of lab equipment such as viscometers, titration setups, ovens, balances, and FTIR.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and lab safety protocols.
• Help maintain the lab’s compliance with ISO 9001 and NABL (ISO 17025) standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry (preferred)
• OR Diploma/B.E. in Chemical Engineering with hands-on lab experience
• Experience:
• 1–4 years in QA/QC chemical testing in resin, coatings, polymers, or chemical industry
• Hands-on experience with chemical testing methods, titrations, and lab instrumentation
• Good knowledge of quality documentation and COA preparation
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, data entry systems)

Preferred Attributes:

• Exposure to ISO 17025 or NABL-accredited labs
• Familiarity with epoxy, polyester, or polyurethane resin systems
• Team player with good communication and time management skills

Salary: Rs. 360000- Rs. 800000 Annual CTC
