QA Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.

· Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.

· Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

· Collaborate with the development team to understand features and provide feedback on functionality and usability.

· Automate testing processes where applicable to improve efficiency.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

· Monitor and report on test progress and results, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

· Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in the software development lifecycle.

· Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.

· Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, TestNG).

· Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of Experience.

· Experience in the EdTech industry or educational software.

· Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

· Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
