Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Thomson Reuters, you will be responsible for continually looking to optimize systems and services for security, automation, performance, and availability, while ensuring solutions developed, adhere and align to architectural standards. This work will involve delivering new code, testing services in our cloud infrastructure, and working to ensure we have automated tests running at each level of our deployment pipeline. You are empowered to try new approaches and learn new technologies. Your work will benefit customers who need to find save time and yet also feel guaranteed they are not making errors as a result.

About The Role

• In these opportunities as a QA Automation Engineer you will:
• Develop and Deliver: Automated testing solutions by understanding business needs, defining test scenarios, building test scripts using tools/frameworks and comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle/Agile methodologies. Test applications across a range of technologies.
• Be a Team Player: Working in a collaborative team-oriented environment, you will share information, value diverse ideas, partner with cross-functional and remote teams
• Have an Agile Mindset: With a strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will deliver solutions against strict timelines

About You

• Minimum 3 years experience is mandatory.
• Test automation engineering experience with some of the following tools: Playwright, Selenium, Postman, and JMeter. Preference is for Playwright.
• Experience in Automation using Typescript or Javascript.
• Experience in performing API Testing and Automation Experience testing Web Applications in cross-browser and cross-device using automated test tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps Experience with developing both front-end and back-end automation tests
• Understanding of security best practices for web development.
