Manual Tester – Quality Assurance Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester to join our QA team. You’ll be responsible for manually testing software to ensure it meets business requirements, is bug-free, and provides a seamless experience to users.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, designers) to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams in a clear, structured manner.

Requirements

• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Strong coding/scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of testing practices, frameworks, and SDLC.
