Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Lead to independently lead the testing efforts across projects while contributing hands-on as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing skills, be well-versed in automation testing, and possess the ability to support and enhance automation frameworks. Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead end-to-end testing activities for assigned projects.
• Design and execute manual test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and act as the point of contact for QA activities in your projects.
• Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
• Report on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  
  

Participate in Agile ceremonies

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA experience with solid manual testing skills.
• Working knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent.
• Experience in supporting or developing automation frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills for writing and executing queries.
• Familiarity with testing web-based applications and APIs.
• Good understanding of QA processes, Agile methodologies, and defect management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
• Experience in Azure Devops
