Talent Formula is a consulting firm that offers outsourced financial and accounting talent to Chartered Accounting firms worldwide. We currently have tech vacancies in our Quantaco Team.

The Senior Software Engineer is a new role critical to helping us realize our vision for new and valuable data insights and services for our customers. Your eye for intuitive and simple design, combined with mature development skills in Python, and a good work ethic, will position you well to experience a rewarding career with Quantaco.

Responsibilities Of The Role

• Design, develop, and test software for our platform using Python.
• Automating build and deployment pipelines
• Optimise components to run efficiently on Google Cloud Platform
• Automating repetitive technical tasks
• Contribute to the product roadmap, sprint planning, stand-ups, and ensuring the scrum board is up to date.

We would love to hear from you if you…

• are organised and a fast learner.
• understand good design principles
• are proficient in Python (including Django and Django ORM), with at least three years’ experience.
• are experienced deploying and operating serverless and containerised platforms, preferably on Google Cloud
  
  

It Would Be Fantastic But Not Essential If You…

• have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• are good at breaking down abstract concepts into efficient designs.
• experience with application containerisation using Kubernetes.
• have experience working with any of the following technologies:
• TypeScript/JavaScript
• BigQuery and PostgreSQL
• Git and Bitbucket
• Terraform
• Cube JS
• DBT
• C#
• are familiar with financial data systems.
