Scrum Master

Job Summary:

The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating and guiding agile practices within the technology team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. This individual will work closely with technology professionals, focusing on emerging and innovative technologies, and will play a key role in mentoring and coaching team members to maximize their potential.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Facilitate agile practices and principles within the technology team.
• Lead and manage technology professionals working with emerging and innovative technologies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.

• Proficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).

• Agile Methodologies: Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10+ years in technology management and leadership roles.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and other Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
• Coordinate with technology teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and resolve any impediments or blockers.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve their agile practices and technical skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years of experience in technology management and leadership.
