IQVIA Orchestrated Analytics (OA) team is looking for a Scrum Master to manage and oversee development team in India, who are focusing on microservice architecture, cloud computing and scalability within our SaaS and mobile products which deliver highly available and scalable data management, analytics and AI Assistant capabilities to our largest Pharmaceutical clients.

As a Scrum Master for multiple product development teams, you will facilitate the scrum processes by implementing agile best practices, promoting effective collaboration, and providing organisational leadership. You will help the global development teams perform at their highest level while maintaining adherence to the established Agile/Scrum methodologies, from concept to deployment. Our ideal candidate comes equipped with an impressive set of tools:
- A full understanding of agile methodology and practical experience using Scrum framework (Jira/Confluence proficiency)
- Experience with the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development. Scrum experience with distributed/remote teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the teams and agile processes
- Honesty, transparency, ability to inspect and adapt
- Promote and nurture team creativity and efficiency
- Ensure each Scrum team member has the resources and information needed for success
- Remove impediments for your team members and shield them from external interference
- Execute the Scrum framework and supporting processes
- Proactively coach team members on Scrum and agile best practices. Providing agile leadership and coaching for the development team and project stakeholders regarding process methodologies, scrum practices, collaboration tools, etc.
- Organizing, scheduling, and facilitating agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other meetings as needed
- Collaborating with Product Owners and other key stakeholders to identify, refine, and shape the product backlog and roadmap to support business value delivery
- Consistently deliver established team reporting and guidance metrics
- Facilitate organizational transparency via communication on scope, goals, milestones, risk, and critical issues
- Enable collaboration and cooperation across teams by encouraging cross-training and team support
- Develop close working relationships with all levels of product development such as assisting Project Manager / Tech Lead with recruitment process in Dhaka
- Understanding of AWS / Azure / cloud technologies
- Maintain clarity and enforcement of “Definition of Ready” and “Definition of Done”
- Research and stay informed of innovative ways to keep the team engaged, organized and focused; offer suggestions of ways to improve the processes or tools used for team collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes to enable execution of those skills. Identifying opportunities and implementing improved processes and workflows to boost team efficiency by tracking and reporting on development team metrics such as velocity, risks, burndown, cumulative flow, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, or equivalent experience required
- minimum 3 years experience in Scrum methodologies or agile project management with in-depth knowledge of Scrum process
- Strong software and computer skills, for example understanding of AWS/Azure/cloud technologies, proficiency using Jira and Confluence, Microsoft office application
- Experience of managing distributed development team
- Methodological with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving, team leadership, decision making and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
- Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment (both work autonomously and as part of a team)
- Be a self-starter who enjoys collaborating
- Process driven, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Considers feedback as an opportunity to grow
- Strong communicator (verbal and written)
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients
