Job Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Scrum Master to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will facilitate agile methodologies within our development teams, ensuring effective sprint planning and delivery of high-quality software for educators.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in implementing and managing agile methodologies with a focus on scrum practices.
- Proficiency in utilizing JIRA (Mandatory skill) for agile project management and task tracking.
- Expertise in Scrum (Mandatory skill) for guiding and motivating the team to achieve project objectives.
- Solid understanding of Agile Methodologies (Mandatory skill) to ensure continuous improvement and maximized project efficiency.
- Experience with Kanban for managing work in progress and improving team productivity.
- Knowledge of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) approach for scaling agile practices across large teams.
- Experience in Sprint Planning to map out deliverables and timelines effectively.
- Strong Conflict Resolution skills to facilitate teamwork, handle challenges, and maintain team harmony.
- Ability to use Confluence for collaborative documentation and knowledge management within teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on business needs and deliverables.
- Monitor team performance and processes, providing guidance and feedback for continual improvement.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of goals.
- Manage cross-functional teams and resolve any impediments or conflicts that may emerge during the project lifecycle.
- Advocate for agile principles and practices across the organization to foster a culture of trust and innovation.
- Identify potential risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Support team development by identifying training needs and growth opportunities within the agile framework.
