Job Title: Scrum master

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Employment Type: Full Time

Certified Scrum Master with over 6 years of experience, He will lead Agile teams by facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and driving the adoption of Agile best practices. You will act as a servant-leader and coach for cross-functional teams, ensuring continuous improvement and high delivery performance in line with Agile principles.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Guide the team in applying Agile/Scrum practices and values to improve productivity and

quality.

Collaborate with Product Owners to groom and maintain a well-defined product backlog.

Shield the team from external distractions and remove impediments to progress.

Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders.

Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and principles.

Ensure team adherence to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.

Work across multiple teams or coordinate with other Scrum Masters in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).

Support Agile transformations by contributing to organizational change initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent (PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.).

6+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

Proven experience in coaching teams through Agile practices and delivering high-quality

results.

Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps.

Experience in working with distributed or cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus).

Background in software development, QA, or business analysis.

Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
