Overview

Description

Facilitate and support agile delivery processes across 3 teams (12–15 members in total).

Lead Scrum ceremonies including planning, retrospectives, daily standups, and Scrum of Scrums (SoS).

Actively participate in grooming sessions and backlog refinement.

Foster transparent and effective communication across all team members and stakeholders.

Serve as the primary liaison between the development teams and US-based customers.

Escalate issues proactively to Project Managers and customer counterparts.

Help the teams to meet sprint goals by removing blockers and mitigating risks.

Shield development teams from external disruptions and distractions.

Guide teams in cultivating agile mindsets and accountable, self-organizing behaviors.

Contribute to improving and enforcing software development policies and practices.

Track and report key metrics such as SLAs, KPIs, velocity, burndown, and delivery status.

Required Skills & Experience:

Recent hands-on experience in software development.

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Proven experience in building and delivering software for distributed production systems.

Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and XP.

Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Manager.

Strong understanding of backlog management, burndown metrics, velocity, and user stories.

Experience managing risk and driving continuous improvement.

Basic knowledge of software development practices to support and understand team needs.

Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong communication, negotiation, and mediation abilities.

Proven ability to collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Java backend development is a strong plus.

Prior experience in full-cycle software development from design to release.

Passion for engineering and finding creative, long-term solutions to complex challenges.

Experience in managing or coaching agile transformations is a plus.

Requirements

Recent experience in hands-on software development

Solid understanding of project SDLC

Experienced in software for distributed production systems

Hands-on knowledge & experience in Agile (ScrumKanbanXP etc.) software development methodologies

Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team’s needs

Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.

Negotiator, Mediator, Understand business requirements

Experienced in development a variety of complex Java backend is an advantage

Job responsibilities

Manage 3 teams of total 12 to 15 members, facilitation and support of delivery process

Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, daily standups, SoS, …)

Active participation in grooming sessions

Establish and execute clear communications across all team members

Active / pro-active communication with the US-based customer

Escalating possible issues to Project Manager, counter-partner on the customer side

Active problem-solver

Help the team to achieve goals

Resolve / unblock impediments

Ability to shield a development team from outside distractions and interferences

Cultivate the right mindset, culture and behaviors for enabling empowered and accountable Product Teams

Contribute to establishing, enforcing and improving Software Development policies and procedures to constantly
