Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to test and improve software products, identifying and reporting issues, and making sure that releases are free of defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, etc.) to understand requirements and design test cases based on user stories.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual tests for web and mobile applications.
• Write detailed, effective, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs or issues, and follow up on their resolution.
• Perform regression testing after fixes or updates to the system.
• Ensure that products meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement in the testing process.
• Perform load and stress testing to ensure product stability under various conditions.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in the software.
• Maintain testing environments and perform software installations or configurations when needed.
• Continuously improve the testing processes and tools, keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in the QA field.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role (typically 2+ years).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficient in creating and executing manual test cases and reporting bugs.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies or issues.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance and stress testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Experience testing APIs (REST, SOAP) using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹291,466.16 - ₹418,647.74 per year
