Senior Android Developer

Overview

On behalf of a top-tier IT firm, we’re hiring a Senior Android Developer, an Immediate Joiner, to lead impactful mobile projects and shape future-ready apps.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

· Design UI layouts using XML and follow Material Design guidelines.

· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

· Work with the MVVM architecture and integrate Jetpack components like ViewModel, LiveData, Room, and Navigation.

· Consume RESTful APIs using Retrofit or Volley and handle data parsing.

· Implement local data storage using Room Database and Shared Preferences.

· Manage code versioning with Git and collaborate using version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket.

· Debug and fix bugs, and optimize application performance.

· Assist in the deployment process and understand the basics of publishing apps to the Google Play Store.

Key Skills & Requirements:

· Strong command over Kotlin and Java.

· Solid experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.

· Proficient in XML-based UI design and layout best practices.

· Good understanding of Activity and Fragment lifecycle.

· Practical experience working with MVVM architecture.

· Hands-on experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).

· Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit or Volley.

· Knowledge of local data storage techniques (Room DB, SharedPreferences).

· Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows.

· Basic understanding of the Google Play Store publishing process.

· Leverage use of AI tool to boost productivity & enhancement

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

· Cross-platform(Flutter/React-Native) technology knowledge is a plus point.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹660,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
