Senior Automation Tester

Overview

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product by designing and executing robust automated test solutions. You will be involved throughout the development lifecycle - collaborating closely with engineers, product teams, and DevOps - to test web and mobile applications deployed on cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in test automation, performance testing, and cloud-based testing environments.

Years of Experience (Mandatory):

• 4–10 years of relevant experience in software testing, especially in fast-paced, product-based environments.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing is required.

Job Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams during the design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct regression, UI/UX, load, and security testing to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and support defect resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to performance optimization.
• Manage automation scripts in version-controlled repositories.
• Develop reusable and scalable test code aligned with continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Work independently in agile/scrum teams, taking ownership of test strategy and execution.

Additional Candidate Preferences

• Experience in non-functional testing (e.g., performance, resilience, security).
• Familiarity with tools like NeoLoad, JMeter, BlazeMeter, or LoadRunner for performance testing.
• Hands-on experience testing in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
• Proven understanding of Agile testing methodologies such as TDD, BDD, and working in CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Quick adaptability to new tools and emerging testing technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Annual Salary: ₹8–12 Lakh/Year (based on experience and qualifications).

Skills Required :

• Automation Testing (4+ years): Expertise in writing, maintaining, and executing automation scripts using Selenium.
• Programming (4+ years): Strong proficiency in Java for automation development.
• API Testing (2–4 years): Experience using Postman for testing RESTful APIs.
• Cloud Testing (2+ years): Working knowledge of AWS and testing in cloud environments.
• Performance Testing (1–3 years): Familiarity with JMeter, NeoLoad, or similar tools.
• Cross-Platform Testing: Use of tools like BrowserStack for web/mobile compatibility testing.
• Database Testing: Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database structures.
• CI/CD (2+ years): Integration of test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Soft Skills: Critical thinking, detail-oriented, and strong written and verbal communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
