Senior Automation Tester [ Python Robot Framework]

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Robot Framework to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions. The candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration.

Experience 5 to 6 Years


Key Responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework
. Develop reusable keywords and libraries in Robot Framework
. Automate Web, API, and Database testing
. Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
. Execute regression, smoke, and integration test suites
. Analyze test results and prepare detailed defect reports
. Work closely with Dev, QA, and Business teams for requirement understanding
. Maintain automation code in Git repositories
. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards



Technical Skills Required:
Mandatory:

. Strong programming skills in Python
. Hands-on experience with Robot Framework
. Experience with SeleniumLibrary in Robot Framework
. API automation experience (RequestsLibrary / REST APIs)
. Good understanding of OOPS concepts
. Experience with Git version control
. CI/CD pipeline integration knowledge
. SQL knowledge for backend validation

Good to Have:

. Experience with PyTest / Behave
. Experience in Docker or containerized test execution
. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
. Exposure to performance testing tools
. Banking / Payments domain knowledge (preferred if relevant to your project needs)
