Overview Of The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you are expected to not only manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships but also to lead business analysis efforts across multiple teams or departments. You must have a deep understanding of business processes, technology systems, and industry trends, and drive business value through process optimization, and technology solutions.
You will also work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner(s) and key stakeholders to gather business requirements, and help translate them into clear requirement documents, write compelling business cases and proposals to implement and deliver cost-effective solutions.

You will also work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner(s) and key stakeholders to gather business requirements, and help translate them into clear requirement documents, write compelling business cases and proposals to implement and deliver cost-effective solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Spearhead end-to-end product design activities, collaborating with product owners, lead developers, and UI/UX designers.
- Collaborate with Product Manager, Product Owner(s), and stakeholders to translate business requirements into comprehensive documents.
- Directly engage with business teams, SMEs, and Product Owners to understand and solve business problems.
- Conduct requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews and elicitation sessions to support the creation of the Product Backlog and other artefacts.
- Facilitate UX design sessions and System/Solution design brainstorming sessions.
- Conduct ancillary analysis activities, including data analysis, subject matter research, and techno-functional analysis, while documenting relevant requirements and system specifications in accordance with organizational standards.
- Define a plan for the design and implementation of Sprints, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Support the testing/QA team in creating and reviewing test cases, and provide clarifications to the development team during the implementation phase.
- Ensure documentation adheres to expected structuring as per org-level standards.
- Play a step-in Product Owner role in the absence of the PO, performing activities such as backlog grooming and team support.
- Lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams in the implementation of complex projects while mentoring and guiding BAs to foster continuous learning and development.
- Stay updated on advanced industry practices, methodologies, and technologies.
- Drive innovation in BA processes and methodologies, introducing improvements based on industry advancements.
- Play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and aligning business analysis efforts with organisational strategies.
- Participate in high-level decision-making processes, providing insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership in shaping the overall business strategy.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any related field or equivalent qualification.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in business and/or system analysis.
- Possess excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Expertise around various kinds of requirement documentation formats such as BRD, FRD, SRS, Use-Cases, User-Stories, and creating other documents such as Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), System Flows, Context diagrams, etc.
- Proven expertise in various requirement documentation formats.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to understand various business problems.
- Experience in driving UI/UX design activities, along with familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and hands-on SQL experience.
- Hands-on experience with system integrations and APIs is required. Familiarity with wrapper APIs, ElasticSearch indexes, and AWS S3 will be an added advantage.
- Experience of working on Healthcare Insurance domain-focused IT products and /or Industry knowledge would be a huge plus.
- Possess hands-on experience with BPMN, UML diagrams, and tools like MS Visio, along with basic knowledge and practical exposure to system integrations and APIs.
