Senior C# .Net Developer
Job Description
Your role:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based medical applications with a focus on imaging and health data exchange.
- Implement DICOM workflows (e.g., Storage, Query/Retrieve, Modality Worklist).
- Build and integrate FHIR-compliant RESTful APIs to support clinical interoperability.
- Use GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, ensure code consistency, and reduce boilerplate work.
- Collaborate with product owners, radiologists, and health IT specialists to refine functional and technical requirements.
- Adhere to best practices for coding, testing, performance tuning, and security—especially around patient data.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to design/code reviews.
- 10+ years of experience in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core development.
- 4+ years experience in designing and architecting applications, with focus on scalability, performance, maintainability and upgradeability.
- Strong hands-on experience with DICOM standards and workflows.
- Practical experience with FHIR and other HL7 interoperability standards.
- Proficient in using GitHub Copilot or similar AI code assistants as part of daily development.
- Strong code quality focus and experience in usage of tools like Sonar, TICS and Blackduck.
- Experience integrating with PACS, RIS, or EHR systems.
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and system performance.
- Familiarity with DICOM toolkits like fo-dicom or DCMTK and FHIR libraries such as Firely SDK or HL7 .NET SDK.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.
- Proficient in designing, writing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience with SQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS ).
