Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical AI Engineer with at least 8 years of experience in healthcare technology using AI. The ideal candidate will join our dynamic team to develop and implement advanced AI solutions specifically designed for clinical applications. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, data scientists, and software developers to create innovative tools that improve patient care and streamline healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI algorithms and models tailored to clinical applications, including diagnostic tools, predictive analytics, and personalized medicine.

• Healthcare Data Analysis: Collaborate with clinicians and data scientists to analyze complex healthcare datasets, including electronic health records (EHRs), medical imaging, and genomic data.

• Integration and Deployment: Work with software development teams to integrate AI solutions into clinical workflows and healthcare systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Research and Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and healthcare technology, applying this knowledge to develop innovative solutions that enhance patient outcomes.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all AI solutions comply with healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and FDA requirements.

• Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including healthcare providers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to understand clinical needs and translate them into technical specifications.

• Performance Optimization: Optimize AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in clinical environments.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI models, algorithms, and development processes, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.

• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

• Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate project deadlines and team collaboration across time zones

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• At least 8 years (Master's Candidate) or 10 years (Bachelor's candidates) of hands-on experience in AI development within the healthcare industry.

• Demonstrated expertise in Python and NoSQL databases.

• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning techniques, and statistical modeling applied to healthcare data.

• Experience with processing and analyzing healthcare data, including structured and unstructured data.

• Understanding of healthcare data standards and protocols, such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.

• Familiarity with software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and version control systems like Git.

• Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex clinical problems and develop innovative AI solutions.

• Security awareness: Understanding of data security best practices and experience handling confidential patient information.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field.

• Experience with medical imaging analysis, such as radiology or pathology.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, especially Azure AI services.

• Knowledge of natural language processing techniques applied to clinical notes and unstructured text.

• Experience with AI validation and assessment methodologies specific to healthcare.

• Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including clinicians.

• Travel availability: Willingness to travel to the USA at least a couple of times per year for collaboration and team meetings.
