Requirements

The Role -

We’re looking for a driven and self-starting Senior Data Analyst to join our Data team. You will contribute to our mission by leveraging analytics capabilities to improve visibility, identify opportunities for accelerating revenue growth and to drive efficiency. You will be a key member of a cross-functional Data team at Tripstack.

Responsibilities -

• Extract Insights from Large Data Sets: Analyze extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions and optimize operational performance.
• Market Trend Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends to identify emerging opportunities for business growth and competitive advantages.
• KPI Development and Monitoring: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor both new and existing key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational goals.
• Data-Driven Partnership Strategies: Work closely with business development teams to apply data-driven methodologies in establishing and enhancing strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support Design and Deployment of A/B Tests: Work closely with product and data science functions to design experiments around hypotheses and implement measurement and reporting pipelines.
• Mentor Junior Analysts: You will provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts in the team to help them develop their analytical skills and industry knowledge. Your responsibilities will include offering constructive feedback on their work, facilitating their professional growth through training and development opportunities, and ensuring they adhere to best practices and project requirements.
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience -

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics in travel, tech or e-commerce.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, economics, mathematics, engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets independently.
• Experience in building queries in SQL, automating reporting and building analytics ETL pipelines in PySpark or related languages.
• Experience programming in Python, R, or related languages.
• Experience building self service dashboards in Looker, Power BI or other BI tools.
• Proven interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven organizational skills and experience working independently.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  
  

Nice to have -

• 2+ years experience with a Master’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related discipline.
• Desire to learn and understand business concepts / new ideas.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques for experimentation & hypothesis testing, regression and statistical tests.
• Experience working effectively with data engineering and science teams.
