Job Summary.

Power BI Specialist plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights through data visualization and analysis. Here’s a detailed job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop BI Solutions: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Preparation: Connect to various data sources, clean, and transform data to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
• Data Analysis: Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and other tools to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.
• Maintenance: Update and maintain existing BI reports and dashboards to ensure they remain relevant and accurate.

Essential Skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Power BI (5+ Years), DAX, Dataflow, and data modelling.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to present data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong logical and problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges.

Educational Background:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often required.
• Relevant certifications like the Microsoft Certified: PL 300 - Power BI Data Analyst Associate can be highly beneficial.
