Overall Purpose of The Job

This role will involve the analysis of a wide range of data and will require comfortability with large complex data sets and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and stories, and mainly performance improvement.

The Senior Data Analyst will develop dashboards and reports; providing a view of historical trends and predictions. This includes identifying critical questions and solving problems by utilizing statistical technics that impact the operations and strategic decisions.

Drive digitalization within the organization, build and maintain databases and digital dashboards which empowers end-users to make timely and effective decisions. This includes stimulating the adoption of data-driven practices and guiding stakeholders in leveraging data insights in their day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Provide regular performance report and trend, root case analysis with insight
• Offer recommendation for improvement
• Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards
• Configuration of data stack within the DevOps framework, develop data objects and write code in and around the data stack
• Collaborate with stakeholders and gain deep understanding their needs, challenges and requirement to provide beneficial data analysis
• Act in a timely manner for ad-hoc information/data request
• Support the teams to make data led business decisions
• Modelling of resource demand / supply with “what if” scenario
• Continuously improve accuracy and details of all forecasting model
• Market and business trend analysis – historical and predictive
• Ensure data quality control
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data analytics process and methodology

Essential

• 5+ years proven work experience as a data analyst, PowerBI
• Experienced working with Microsoft Azure, SQL, Python
• Proficiency is statistical analysis, data modelling and visualization tools
• Experience of data visualization, building and maintaining dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work with large and complex datasets
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, database maintenance
• Critical thinking, attention to details
