Overview

In partnership with our client, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who knows that the best product decisions are not made on instinct alone, they are made with sharp, well-structured data behind them. This is a role for someone who sits at the heart of our payments and growth function, turning complex business questions into clear insights that drive real action. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and business leaders, owning analytics end to end across the full product development cycle. If you are technically strong, strategically minded, and energised by the challenge of making data work harder for a fast-growing fintech, we want to meet you.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are analytically rigorous, with deep expertise in SQL, statistical modelling, and experimentation, and a track record of applying these skills to drive meaningful product and business outcomes.
  • You are a strategic thinker who can translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear, actionable recommendations.
  • You are technically fluent in Python and familiar with tools like Pandas, SciPy, and Jupyter notebooks, and you know how to use them to solve real problems at scale.
  • You are a strong communicator, able to present complex findings clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences in excellent spoken and written English.
  • You are a builder, someone who takes pride in creating scalable, self-service dashboards and visualisation tools that empower teams to make better decisions independently.
  • You are collaborative and relationship-driven, comfortable acting as a strategic link between technology, business, and product teams.
  • You are ownership-oriented, someone who takes end-to-end responsibility for the analytics work you own and sees it through from data gathering to post-launch impact analysis.

Your Responsibilities...

Analytics & Insights

  • You will translate product and business questions into structured analyses and actionable insights that directly inform decision making across marketing, growth, and product teams.
  • You will apply advanced mathematical and statistical modelling techniques including A/B testing, multivariate testing, clustering, and supervised learning to solve high-impact product and business problems.
  • You will own end-to-end analytics for the Marketing and Growth product, from data requirement gathering and opportunity sizing through to experimentation and post-launch impact analyses.

Data Visualisation & Reporting

  • You will develop and maintain scalable, self-service visualisation tools and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Looker, and others, giving teams clear and consistent visibility into product metrics and KPIs.

Product & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • You will work closely with product managers, business teams, development teams, and data engineers to guide sales, marketing, and growth teams through problem discovery and performance monitoring.
  • You will build robust relationships with stakeholders, acting as a strategic and supportive link between technology, business, and product functions.

What Success Looks Like...

  • Product and business teams have consistent, reliable visibility into key metrics and KPIs through well-maintained dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Experiments are designed and analysed rigorously, with A/B and multivariate tests generating clear, actionable insights that directly shape product decisions.
  • End-to-end analytics ownership across the Marketing and Growth product results in measurable improvements in user acquisition, retention, and engagement over time.
  • Stakeholders across product, business, and engineering consistently describe the analytics function as a strategic partner, not just a reporting resource.
  • Self-service dashboards reduce ad hoc data requests, freeing up team capacity and improving decision-making speed across the business.

To be considered for this role you should have...

  • 3 to 4 years of professional experience in a quantitative analysis role, gained at top-tier companies such as tier 1 consulting firms, investment banks, or tech companies with heavy use of programming.
  • Excellent SQL skills, which will be tested during the hiring process.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and analysing experiments in digital products, including A/B testing and multivariate testing.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming using Python, including hands-on experience with Pandas, SciPy, and Jupyter or iPython notebooks.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Experience applying statistical modelling and advanced analytics to generate product-shaping insights.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
