Job Description
- Strong knowledge in data warehousing/data lake concepts and best practices
- Knowledge of Snowflake's architecture, features, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes within Snowflake, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
- Implement data governance and best practices for data quality, security, and compliance within Snowflake databases
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processing issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Certifications :
- Certifications related to data engineering, cloud platforms, or Snowflake (Snowpro core, Snowpro Advanced Data Engineer)are desirable but not mandatory)
Primary Skills :
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge in data warehousing/data lake concepts and best practices
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Knowledge of Snowflake's architecture, features, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including complex query optimization and performance tuning within Snowflake environments.
- Experience in data modeling, schema design, and optimization for Snowflake databases.
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms like Azure/AWS /GCP
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline development in snowflake and SAP /cloud platforms
- Expertise in Dimension Modeling is a must
Secondary Skills :
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn modern technologies and methodologies.
