Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in PLSQL development and data integration tools like Informatica to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, data processing, and data integration, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines to support our data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PLSQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data processing and integration.
• Work with large datasets and ensure data quality and performance in database operations.
• Utilize Informatica PowerCenter to design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to data extraction, transformation, and performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure data requirements are met and systems are optimized for performance.
• Maintain and enhance existing data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Assist in database design and architecture decisions to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
• Ensure proper documentation of code, processes, and best practices.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3.5 to 6 years of experience in PLSQL database development.
• Strong proficiency in PLSQL, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL tools, particularly Informatica PowerCenter.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets, and optimize data processes for performance and scalability.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with version control and code management tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of other ETL tools or technologies.
