Role: Lead Consultant – Data Scientist

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Consultant – Data Scientist to drive innovative

AI-driven solutions with a strong focus on Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language

Models (LLMs), and Knowledge Graphs. You will play a pivotal role in designing,

developing, and deploying AI workflows, integrating GraphRAG frameworks, and

building scalable, explainable, and impactful solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in graph databases like Neo4J, with the

ability to combine knowledge graph technology with advanced AI workflows. Strong

problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills, along with experience in the

retail domain, are a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Architect and implement advanced AI workflows that integrate Graph-

enhanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (GraphRAG) pipelines,

leveraging tools like Neo4J to enhance data retrieval, contextual

understanding, and reasoning capabilities.

Build scalable knowledge graphs and knowledge base that model complex

relationships and enable intelligent query optimization, seamless integration,

and explainable insights in AI solutions.

Evaluate and fine-tune open-source LLMs such as Mistral, Llama, and

Gemma, benchmarking their performance against business use cases, and

experimenting locally using frameworks like Ollama.

Design and optimize RAG pipelines using evaluation frameworks like RAGAS

and DeepEval, ensuring high standards across metrics such as Fairness,

Faithfulness, Contextual Precision, Recall, and Answer Relevancy.

Leverage knowledge graphs and graph-based reasoning to solve domain-

specific challenges and improve the explainability, scalability, and efficiency of

AI systems.

Drive Azure Cloud-based AI solutions, utilizing Azure OpenAI services to

build scalable, secure AI applications.

Identify, debug, and resolve technical bottlenecks in AI workflows, ensuring

continuous improvement and alignment with evolving business needs.

Project Delivery, Client Engagement, & Team Leadership

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact AI solutions that align with

business objectives while mentoring and upskilling team members in cutting-

edge AI workflows, including LLMs and knowledge graph technologies.

Partner with stakeholders to define project objectives, translate business

problems into data-driven solutions, and drive tailored implementations.

Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation by mentoring data scientists

and engineers, while ensuring timely delivery of scalable, impactful solutions.

Engage with senior stakeholders to present technical concepts and solutions

in business-friendly terms, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications

Strong past experience in data science, with at least 3 years focused on

GenAI, LLMs, and knowledge graph frameworks.

Proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain,

and Hugging Face for AI and graph-based solutions.

Expertise in Neo4J or similar graph technologies, including designing,

querying, and integrating graphs into AI workflows.

Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines, GraphRAG frameworks, and LLM

evaluation using tools like RAGAS and DeepEval, with a strong

understanding of metrics like Context Precision, Recall, Faithfulness, and

Answer Relevancy.

Experience with Azure OpenAI for building and deploying scalable AI

solutions.

Proven ability to identify, debug, and resolve complex issues in AI workflows,

ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
