We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Pune. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and managing our cloud infrastructure, optimizing software delivery pipelines, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and AWS to drive scalable, secure, and efficient deployments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS cloud infrastructure, including services like EKS, S3, EFS, MSK, and networking components (VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups).
• Support infrastructure as code practices through Terraform, ensuring effective state file management and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application deployment processes.
• Conduct regular audits of AWS environments and update Terraform configurations to maintain best practices and compliance.
• Analyze production workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure processes, CI/CD practices, and cloud architecture.
• Participate actively in team meetings, project planning sessions, and root cause analysis discussions.
• Assist in planning and execution of disaster recovery strategies.
• Ensure availability during overlapping US-timezone working hours for effective communication and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GitLab for repository management, pipeline configuration, and merge request workflows.
• 3+ years of expertise in Terraform for infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS services (EKS, S3, EFS, MSK, VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups).
• Strong skills in AWS infrastructure monitoring, maintenance, and support.
• Proven experience with root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to consult and coordinate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work during hours overlapping with US time zones.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and infrastructure automation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
