Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Database Management. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications that process large volumes of real-time data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, and stream processing applications
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
• Handle real-time data processing using Kafka Streams
• Work with JDBC, Hibernate, JPA for efficient database interactions
• Develop multi-threaded applications optimized for high concurrency
• Collaborate with DevOps for smooth deployment and monitoring
• Write clean, testable code and conduct code reviews

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience (JDK 8+)
• In-depth knowledge of Apache Kafka (including Streams API, Connect, Schema Registry)
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring MVC
• Proficient in JDBC, SQL, Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices
• Solid understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ in addition to Kafka
• Understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC, or WebSockets
• Familiarity with Apache Flink or Spark
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Certifications in Spring, Kafka, or Cloud platforms are a plus
