This is a hands-on functional role requiring knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and B2B Trading Partner Management, Business Requirement Mapping, and Communication to technical and leadership teams. The Senior EDI / B2B Functional Analyst supports:

Job Title: Senior Lead Business Integration Analyst – Hybrid (6+ years exp)

What You Will Do:

Consulting with Collins leaders, business relationship managers, customers and suppliers regarding EDI and B2B best practices and standards

Writes user stories and business requirements and translates to functional specification and EDI mapping documents for EDI standards X12, XML, EDIFACT, SPEC2000, Aero Repair, Aero Component, Aero Consignment, supplier EDI and e-invoicing

Gathers user feedback on the accuracy, efficiency and functionality of the system

Deploy completed systems and provide maintenance support

Sets up and tests Inbound & Outbound EDI trading partners

Proactively monitors inbound and outbound EDI activity in the SAP production System including Purchase Orders, Advance Ship Notices, Invoicing, 997 Functional Acknowledgement and associated software

Creates and maintains documentation for mapping and process flows

What You Will Learn:

Work on enterprise-grade aerospace applications in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Collaborate with external partners, 3rd party providers and internal stakeholders to identify and understand the functional or business requirements for enhancements and/or new functionality

Adjusting and customizing the system based on user feedback and transaction compliance

Analyzes problems and works with technical lead(s) to determine solutions

Build relationships with EDI partners/vendors

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.

6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IDocs, EDI standards X12 and XML

Strong knowledge of SAP SD & SM (CS)

Creating flawless functional specifications and EDI mapping documents for EDI standards, XML & JSON

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Configuring and supporting SAP CS/SM, PM, and SD modules in the Aerospace and MRO sector.

Proven expertise in implementing customer service workflows, managing repair orders, warranty processing, and integrating with SAP PM for internal maintenance.

Aerospace MRO Process Mapping

Procure-to-Pay & Load Tender-to-Invoice processes

Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver in high-demand environments.
