R3 - Senior Manager, Data Stewardship Business Analyst

Role Overview
As a Data Stewardship Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role ensuring the quality of our data across all domains, which will directly influence patients who use our life-saving products. Key tasks include managing business and technical metadata and ensuring data made available through our platforms are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). Role Overview
As a Data Stewardship Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role ensuring the quality of our data across all domains, which will directly influence patients who use our life-saving products. What Will You Do In This Role
- Manage business and technical metadata in Collibra to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Implement and manage metadata processes to enhance data discoverability in our Data Marketplace.
- Develop and maintain standards for data quality metrics and monitor performance.
- Support initiatives, such as configuring data quality rules, executing data quality checks and analyzing results to improve data quality and resolve issues.
- Document and register data access rules for data products in our Data Marketplace
- Assist in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data stewardship and ownership roles.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of master data and reference data management processes for consistent use across the organization.
- Utilize Collibra for data governance activities and train teams to enhance data governance initiatives.
- Project manage data governance projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on professional who has been in the technology industry for minimum 7-11 years in a data governance role.
- Proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities
- Expertise in metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes.
- Proven experience in supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in master and reference data management and collaborating with business units.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including conducting training sessions and presenting reports to senior management.
- Understanding of data quality management and experience in developing and maintaining standards.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- DAMA CDMP certification, or equivalent
- Experience in a research-intensive biopharmaceutical company.
