Senior Mobile App Developer (React Native)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Mobile App Developer with expertise in React Native to lead the development of our next-generation fintech mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will be responsible for building high-quality, performant, and scalable applications using clean architecture and industry best practices. This is a key role in a fast-paced, tech-driven team where innovation, speed, and ownership are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of our Ritzzpay apps on iOS and Android using React Native.
• Collaborate with respective teams to build seamless, user-friendly features.
• Mentor and guide junior developers; establish and enforce best practices.
• Ensure the app is secure, scalable, and maintainable.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code with thorough documentation.
• Work in an agile environment, following Scrum methodology and participating in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and new technologies to enhance app performance and UX.
• Monitor and optimize app performance and handle debugging across multiple platforms and devices.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in React Native app development with successful deployments on both Play Store and App Store.
• Strong knowledge of Redux, Hooks, and component lifecycle.
• Experience with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, Firebase, and Authentication mechanisms.
• Excellent grasp of mobile UI/UX patterns, animations, and navigation libraries.
• Experience with automated testing (unit/UI testing) and test frameworks.
• Familiarity with native iOS/Android development and debugging tools.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and mobile build tools.
• Version control with Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consumer-facing apps with 50,000+ downloads.
• Knowledge of native Android/iOS modules integration within React Native.
• Exposure to fintech, UPI, BBPS, or digital payment gateways is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of PHP is a plus.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
