Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our development team onsite in Bangalore. This role is suited for a backend engineer with strong technical expertise in Python-based web development, cloud deployment, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate should be confident in leading backend architecture, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to scalable and reliable system Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, Django, FastAPI, or Flask
- Develop RESTful APIs and real-time data features using WebSockets
- Integrate and manage databases using Django ORM with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis
- Write and maintain unit tests using Pytest and unittest
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Work with AWS cloud services including ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch
- Handle large data files (XML/Excel) and perform processing using Pandas, openpyxl, and lxml.etree
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development cycles including sprint planning,
- Mentor junior developers and uphold best coding practices through reviews and technical Skills :
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with Django, FastAPI, Flask, and Django Rest Framework
- Database expertise with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, and Redis
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with Pytest, unittest, and other testing tools
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of AWS services for cloud deployment
- Competence in data processing using Pandas, NumPy, Celery, Boto3, openpyxl, and lxml.etree
- Proficient in Git, GitHub, JIRA, Postman, and related Qualities :
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to lead and mentor junior developers
- Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
