Overview
Responsibilities
- Creating and developing automation for the product and optimizing automation with CI/CD.
- Working side-by-side with developers and peers to create and execute test plans for new features before their announcement and release.
- Determining the reproduction steps, scope, and impact of bugs to make it clear how to prioritize.
- Escalating critical bugs and minimising the manual efforts in application testing and delivery.
- Providing feedback on new features before integrating them into future releases.
- Experience with Selenium and mobile app automation.
- Experience with programming languages, eg, Java/Python.
- Understanding of the TestNG framework.
- Experience with Testrail or any other test case management system.
- Experience with Software version control (eg, GIT).
- Understanding of mobile app automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, BrowserStack, etc.
- Experience with designing an end-to-end test-automation suite for a module/component/product.
- Solid understanding of test planning, test case writing skills.
- Clear communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with J meter.
- Direct experience with testing Flutter apps.
- Experience with white-box automation testing, API contract testing, and quality assurance.
- 5 years of experience in QA / Software testing.
- 2 years of experience in mobile app testing.
- An engineering or science background is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree and above is preferred.
- Specialization in Computer Science or MOOCs (edX, Coursera) certifications is a bonus.
