Overview
Role & Responsibilities
- Creating and developing automation for the product, and optimizing automation with CI/CD
- Working side-by-side with developers and peers to create and execute test plans for new features prior to their announcement and release
- Determining the reproduction steps, scope, and impact of bugs to make it clear how to prioritize
- Escalating critical bugs and minimising the manual efforts in application testing and delivery.
- Providing feedback on new features prior to integrating them into future releases
- Experience with selenium and mobile app automation
- Experience with programming languages eg. Java/Python
- Understanding of TestNG framework
- Experience with Testrail or any other test case management system
- Experience with Software version control (eg. GIT)
- Understanding of mobile app automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, BrowserStack etc.
- Experience with designing end-to-end test-automation suite for module / component / product
- Solid understanding of test planning, test cases writing skills
- Clear communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Jmeter
- Direct experience with testing Flutter apps
- Experience with white-box automation testing, API contract testing and quality assurance
- 5+ years experience in QA / Software testing
- 2+ years experience in mobile app testing
- Engineering or science background is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree and above is preferred
- Specialization in Computer science or MOOCs (edX, Coursera) certifications are bonus
