What You’ll Do
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be a key member of the client-facing testing team, contributing to:
- Leading performance and functional validation efforts for scalable enterprise applications.
- Driving and implementing test strategies for functional and non-functional testing.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members on automation, test planning, and execution.
- Collaborating with architects and product owners to gather requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
- Identifying and addressing system bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Developing new frameworks, tools, and strategies to improve automation and performance testing efficiency.
- Contributing to system scalability, reliability, and capacity initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on performance, automation, and system validation.
- Proven track record in leading complex test initiatives and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and proficiency in Java or Python (must be able to code).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and database performance.
- Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), version control (Git), and scripting (PowerShell or Shell).
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and backend data validation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their scalability/capacity management.
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
