Project description
Halliburton AutoGS is a provisional name for Halliburton's initiative in automated geosteering during well drilling. The project aims to develop a system capable of independently managing the trajectory of horizontal and directional wells in real time with minimal human intervention. AutoGS combines Halliburton’s digital drilling technologies (including the LOGIX® platform for autonomous drilling) with intelligent algorithms and sensors integrated directly into the well construction process.
The AutoGS initiative fits into Halliburton’s broader strategy to develop digital solutions and automate field operations, alongside other efforts such as hydraulic fracturing automation (OCTIV® platform) and remote control of surface equipment. Thus, AutoGS is part of a comprehensive transformation aimed at increasing the efficiency and safety of drilling operations through artificial intelligence (AI) and automated control technologies.
Responsibilities
Adhere to Testing Standards
Understand Quality Concerns
Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality
Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories
Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria
Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define Cross-Product Integration Scenarios
Identify requirements for and solutions to Test Data creation
Define, create and maintain Test environments
Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality
Define, implement and execute Test Plans during Development and Delivery phases of the project
Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition
Skills
Must have
Knowledge in Geosteering/Geoscience.
Under broad direction, has a comprehensive knowledge of many complex applications and is able to completely test integration across these applications.
Including but not limited to Code Inspections, Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Functional Requirements, Test Case Design and execution.
Have a good knowledge at web performance testing and web security testing.
Familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps, know how to manage test cases, test plans requirements and bugs in ADO.
Good knowledge with Windows system and azure Kubernetes system. Know how to setup test environments.
Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server database, can create basic sql server queries to check results in database.
Good at teamwork.
