Senior QA Manual Engineer

Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues, track defects, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate application functionality.
• Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the stability of applications.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Requirement Analysis: Work closely with product managers and developers to understand business requirements and define test scenarios.
• Cross-Browser & Device Testing: Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms.
• Performance & Usability Testing: Conduct usability and exploratory testing to enhance user experience and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality from inception to deployment.
• Mentoring: Guide and support junior QA team members, helping them improve their testing skills and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in testing web and mobile applications, API testing, and database validation.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document test cases, reports, and collaborate with teams.
• Collaboration: Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment while maintaining a detail-oriented and team-first approach.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in the Real Estate industry.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
• Experience with SQL queries for database validation.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Contributions to QA best practices and process improvements.

Additionally: It's a Hybrid working for Mumbai Andheri location.
