Job SummarySynechron is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Associate Payment Developer to support the development and enhancement of payment systems. In this role, you will work with innovative front-end and back-end technologies to build scalable, secure, and reliable payment solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help deliver seamless payment experiences aligning with organizational goals and industry standards, ensuring operational excellence and compliance within the payments domain.
Software Requirements
Required Software Skills:
- React.js (v17+) or later
- TypeScript (latest stable versions)
- C# (latest versions) with experience in .NET/ASP.NET Core
- REST API development and integration
- Git version control
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of microservice architecture
- Knowledge of message queues and event buses (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
- Server-Side Rendering with Node.js (Next.js, Remix) a plus
- Frameworks like Next.js and Tailwind CSS
- Azure services, particularly Cosmos DB integration
- Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
- Design, develop, and implement payment processing modules and services using React, C#, and .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to define technical specifications under Agile methodologies.
- Create responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrate third-party payment APIs.
- Implement asynchronous messaging solutions for reliable, event-driven communication.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and follow best practices around performance and maintainability.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and support continuous integration and deployment efforts.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in payments and software development to recommend enhancements.
- Stable, efficient, and scalable payment solutions that meet technical and business requirements.
- Reduced bugs and deployment issues through rigorous testing and code quality standards.

- Azure cloud platform, particularly Cosmos DB and related services (preferred)

- Next.js, Remix (preferred)
- Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven/Gradle
- Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Testing: Unit testing (Jest, NUnit), Integration testing, End-to-end (Selenium, Cypress)
- REST API security best practices (OAuth2, JWT)
- Message Queues: RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on React, C#, and API integration.
- Extensive experience developing payment or financial transaction systems is preferred.
- Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment and serverless solutions, especially Azure, is highly desirable.
- Alternative pathways: Candidates with extensive experience in financial technologies or large-scale enterprise systems may also qualify.
- Build and enhance payment processing features across client applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and deliverables.
- Develop UI components in React with TypeScript, ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate back-end APIs, message queues, and third-party payment services.
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing; participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure security standards are maintained.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to ensure seamless delivery.
- Continually research industry trends, emerging technologies, and new frameworks relevant to payments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Relevant certifications related to JavaScript frameworks, C#/.NET, or cloud platforms are a plus.
- Demonstrable experience with modern front-end and back-end frameworks, especially in the payments or finance sector.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in payments is advantageous.
